Pennywell Park & Wildlife Centre

Pennywell is now open daily between 10am and 5pm. They have an abundance of early spring babies and with so much going on, every day at Pennywell is special. We do have some extra special events happening this spring.

Shaun the Sheep

The first is a visit from Shaun the Sheep who is coming to Pennywell on Thursday 24th March at midday. It will be interesting to see what he makes of all the Pennywell lambs!

Special Mothers Day Treat

All mums are very special! Mothers Day is on Sunday April 3rd and every mum visiting Pennywell will be given a delicious Devon cream tea, courtesy of Pennywell.   more

Badger Watch

Every Wednesday evening from 6th April to 26th October. Come and see native badgers in and around their sett at Paignton Zoo.   One clan of badgers occupies our main viewing site and when the Zoo visitors leave they begin their night time feeding and socialising. As dusk descends a Zoo keeper will guide you to our custom built viewing hide. With the aid of artificial moonlight you will see some of the badgers emerging from their sett and starting the evening forage for food.more

Paignton Zoo Mad Hatters Tea Party
